A few of the portfolio companies that we have invested in include:

Canbriam Energy Inc.
Canbriam Energy, Inc. is a privately held oil and gas exploration and production company with a focus on unconventional gas in Canada. Formed with financial support from two major investors including ARC Financial Corp., Canbriam Energy Inc. is led by a veteran management and technical team with extensive relevant experience and a proven record of finding and developing hydrocarbon reserves.

Canyon Services Group Inc.
Canyon Services Group Inc. is a Calgary based publicly traded company that provides fracturing and well stimulation services. The management team has strong leadership, and a wealth of operational experience that has allowed the company to grow into one of the largest providers of stimulation services in the Canadian market.

Capio Exploration Ltd.
Capio Exploration Ltd. is a privately held exploration and production company focused on full cycle exploration opportunities and strategic acquisitions in western Canada. The management team previously successfully built Capex Exploration Ltd., which was acquired by Sword Energy Inc. in 2008.

Cequence Energy Ltd.
Cequence Energy Ltd. is an intermediate publicly-traded oil and natural gas exploration and production company based in western Canada. The management team is focused on the advancement of the company's suite of high-impact resource play assets in the Deep Basin of Alberta.

Chinook Energy Inc.
Chinook Energy Inc. is a Calgary-based public oil and gas exploration and development company that combines high quality gas-weighted assets in Western Canada with oil assets onshore and offshore Tunisia in North Africa.

Global Tubing, LLC
Founded in 2007, Global Tubing, LLC is a manufacturer of coiled tubing based in Houston. The company's products are intended for the world coiled tubing market.

Huron Energy Corporation
Huron Energy Corporation is a private exploration and production company led by the former management team of Rubicon Energy Corporation, a successful explorer in the Pembina Nisku oil play. Huron is pursuing a full cycle exploration strategy targeting unconventional gas resources in the Triassic formation in northeast British Columbia.

Nexterra Systems Corp.
Nexterra Systems Corp. develops, manufactures and delivers advanced gasification systems that enable industrial customers to self-generate clean, low cost heat and power using waste fuels. Nexterra's gasification systems are based on a new generation of gasification technology that is simpler in design, more versatile, lower cost and produces lower emissions than conventional combustion equipment.

Seven Generations Energy Ltd.
Seven Generations Energy Ltd. is a private oil and gas company focused on resource plays in North America, including shale gas, tight gas, tight oil and oil sands. An experienced technical and management team is led by Pat Carlson, the successful entrepreneur behind North American Oil Sands Corporation, Krang Energy and Passage Energy. Formed with the financial support of four major investors, including ARC Financial Corp. as the lead and largest investor, Seven Generations has an initial total capitalization of $300 million.

STEP Energy Services Ltd.
STEP Energy Services Ltd. was created to address the completion and operation needs of the deep horizontal well market with ARC Financial Corp. as their capital partner. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, STEP’s initial focus will be the deployment of six specialized coiled tubing units and associated pumping and support equipment to service the deep horizontal well market in Western Canada. STEP’s management consists of Regan Davis as CEO, Bailey Epp, President, Steve Glanville, COO and Robert Sprinkhuysen, CFO.

Tangle Creek Energy Ltd.
Tangle Creek Energy Ltd. is a private company focused on unconventional resource based light oil development. The company is headquartered in Calgary with approximately $150 million of optional equity. The Tangle Creek team is composed of a highly technical group of professionals with proven track records of applying the latest technologies to identify and develop large scale unconventional oil and gas reservoirs.

Tesla Exploration Ltd.
Tesla Exploration Ltd. is a publicly traded company providing land seismic data acquisition services to exploration and production companies. Tesla is the largest seismic data acquisition company in Canada with operations throughout North American and in select international markets.

Unconventional Gas Resources
Unconventional Gas Resources (UGR) is a private company focused on the exploration for and development of unconventional resources in North America. UGR’s management and technical team has extensive knowledge and experience developing resource plays in all primary unconventional resource types including shales, tight sands and coalbed methane.

BluEarth Renewables Inc.
BluEarth Renewables Inc. is a Calgary based private company focused on commercial scale renewable energy development that includes sustainably building, owning, and operating wind, run-of-river hydroelectric and solar generation projects across North America. The management team from BluEarth previously founded and ran Canadian Hydro Developers Inc., a company in which ARC was an investor and which was sold to TransAlta Corp. in 2009.

C&C Energia Ltd.
C&C Energia Ltd. is a Calgary-based publicly traded exploration and production company focused on growing oil production and reserves in Colombia. The company is led by an experienced management team skilled in international operations and building successful companies and currently has operations in the Llanos, Putumayo and Middle Magdalena Valley basins.
