Chris Seasons Joins ARC Financial Corp.
Calgary, February 26, 2015
ARC Financial Corp. (“ARC”) is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Chris Seasons to its team of investment professionals as a Senior Advisor. Mr. Seasons will work closely with ARC’s Investment Committee and Board of Directors on new deal origination, strategic and operational matters, and will also represent the ARC Energy Funds on portfolio company boards.
Mr. Seasons is a professional engineer with more than 30 years of domestic and international experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. From 2004 until his retirement in June 2014, he served as President of Devon Canada, a subsidiary of Oklahoma based Devon Energy. Devon Canada produced approximately 200,000 barrels a day, with the production mix shifting from a gas dominated asset base to an exclusively heavy oil company during his tenure.
Mr. Seasons has long been active in the Calgary community with a number of not-for-profit organizations including the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (former Chairman and head of numerous committees), the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation (past Chairman and current board member), and the United Way of Calgary and Area (past co-chair of the annual campaign, current board member).
