Nancy Smith

Managing Director, Finance and Planning
Nancy's responsibilities include finance and risk management, strategic planning, investor relations, and legal and regulatory matters. Nancy is a member of ARC’s Executive, Investment and Strategy committees. She currently represents ARC on the boards of Canbriam Energy Inc. and Corinthian Exploration Corp.

• Joined ARC in 1999 as Chief Financial Officer after nine years in the oil and gas industry and four years in corporate banking.
• Prior to ARC, worked with a major integrated oil company in various executive roles in financial management and upstream marketing.
• Education includes a B.A. (Economics) and an M.B.A. (Finance) from the University of Alberta, the Canadian Securities Course and the Institute of Corporate Directors Program.
• Former member of the Board of the Directors of Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society and Alberta Theater Projects.
