Douglas Freel

Senior Vice-President and Director
Douglas is focused on the oilfield services segment of ARC’s oil and gas area. His responsibilities include deal origination, structuring and execution, portfolio monitoring and exit. He currently represents ARC on the boards of Global Tubing, LLC, Tesla Exploration Ltd., Canyon Services Group Inc. and STEP Energy Services Ltd.

  • Joined ARC in 1998, with over two decades of oilfield services industry experience in engineering and investment roles, including nine years with a major multi-national oilfield service company.
  • Education includes an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. in Engineering from Queen’s University.
  • Chairman of the Board for the Impact Society.
