Paul Beitel

Senior Vice-President and Director
Paul's principal focus includes the origination, structuring and execution of new investment opportunities, as well as the monitoring and exit of existing investments. He works closely with ARC's portfolio companies as an advisor on corporate strategy, risk management, strategy execution and financial matters. Paul currently represents ARC on the boards of Citadel Drilling Ltd., Ember Resources Inc., Tournament Exploration Ltd. and Unconventional Gas Resources.

• Joined ARC in 1998, after 10 years of operational experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Prior to ARC, was a staff engineer at a senior Canadian oil and gas company, where he specialized in exploitation and reservoir engineering.
• Education includes an M.B.A. from the University of Calgary and a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
• Current Executive Member of the Board of the Canadian Society for Unconventional Resources.
