Since the launch of the first ARC Energy Fund in 1997, ARC has invested over $6 billion of capital in more than 180 companies. We are currently invested in ~20 portfolio companies across six active funds. ARC's most recent energy funds are in two distinct areas: energy transition and oil and gas.
ARC invests in growth focused energy companies with high quality management teams. Our oil and gas strategy is 100% Canadian focused. Our energy transition strategy is Canada-first, but can extend south of the border. ARC is pursuing investment opportunities up to $200 million across the energy sector.
In addition to providing capital, ARC leverages its extensive industry experience and deep relationship network to actively work with management teams as they execute their business plans. ARC provides support in areas such as strategy, deal sourcing, leadership development and corporate governance best practices.
Through the ARC Energy Research Institute, portfolio companies have access to differentiated and proprietary energy sector research.
